Do Not Call Compliance Policy

SparkDBI is committed to protecting and respecting your right to control how you're contacted, including your choice to stop receiving telemarketing calls or email outreach sourced from our data.

Our Commitment

SparkDBI maintains procedures to honor requests not to be contacted by phone or email, and our personnel are trained on these procedures. This includes consulting the U.S. National Do Not Call Registry and our own internal suppression list before any outbound telemarketing or email campaign is run using SparkDBI data, whether by SparkDBI directly through our managed email marketing service, or by customers licensing our data under our Terms and Conditions.

Internal Do Not Contact List

In addition to complying with applicable state and federal regulations, SparkDBI maintains an internal do-not-contact record of individuals who have requested to be excluded from telemarketing calls (voice, text, or fax) or email outreach sourced from our data. This internal record is retained until the individual makes a new inquiry that indicates consent to be contacted at the number or address provided.

How to Submit a Do Not Call or Do Not Email Request

To be added to SparkDBI's internal do-not-contact list, email [email protected] with "Do Not Call" or "Do Not Email" in the subject line, including the phone number(s) or email address(es) you'd like suppressed. You can also submit a request through our Contact Us page or our Do Not Sell My Personal Information form.

National and State Do Not Call Registries

SparkDBI honors phone numbers registered with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry. You can register your phone number, free of charge, at donotcall.gov or by calling 1-888-382-1222 from the phone number you wish to register. Registering on the national registry restricts most telemarketing calls, though calls from political organizations, charities, telephone surveyors, and organizations with which you have an existing business relationship may still be permitted under applicable law.

Residents of states that maintain their own do-not-call registry in addition to the national registry should also register directly with their state's program where applicable.

CAN-SPAM and Email Opt-Out

Every commercial email sent through SparkDBI's managed email marketing service includes a functional unsubscribe mechanism consistent with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. Honoring an unsubscribe request is processed promptly and within the timeframe required by law. Recipients in Canada, the European Union, and other jurisdictions are handled under the applicable regional framework, including CASL and GDPR, as described in our Privacy Policy.
